Kaine Raised Over $2 Million Last Quarter As He Builds Grassroots 2024 Campaign

Richmond, VA — Senator Tim Kaine raised over $2 million in the second quarter of 2023 and ended the period with $6.3 million on hand for his re-election bid.

“Virginians are excited to re-elect Senator Kaine as he works to build a stronger economy for everyone, keep us safe, expand access to affordable health care, improve our public schools, and protect women’s fundamental right to make their own reproductive choices,” said Kaine for Virginia Finance Director Jenny Nadicksbernd. “He is looking forward to running on his record of delivering for hardworking Virginians and building on the progress made.”

This period, 62% of Kaine’s 9,328 donors were from the Commonwealth of Virginia, and he raised nearly $600,000 online. The campaign’s supporters for the quarter included Virginians from every walk of life and every corner of the Commonwealth. The average online contribution this quarter was $63.
