Kaine to Engage Diverse Communities Across Northern Virginia

On Sunday, August 19, Senator Tim Kaine will engage diverse communities across Northern Virginia in a full day of campaign stops. At these events, Kaine will emphasize how diversity and inclusion strengthen our communities, and share his vision of a Virginia that works for all — where jobs, health care, and education are available to every Virginian.

Kaine will attend a church service in Spanish at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Arlington before meeting with Asian community leaders for a conversation in Fairfax. In the evening, he will join the National Council of Asian Indian Association to celebrate the 72nd India Independence Day in Falls Church.

In addition, Kaine will launch two canvassing events with grassroots volunteers in Prince William County and in Fairfax.

Media interested in attending any of these events should contact Kaine campaign press secretary Brandon Gassaway at brandon@timkaine.com.
