On Monday, October 8, Senator Tim Kaine will participate in a conversation and student Q&A session at UVA hosted by Larry Sabato, before heading to Portsmouth to rally local Democrats as part of his re-election campaign. At the University of Virginia, Kaine will take students’ questions and have a conversation with the UVA Center for Politics director as part of the event, “Is Democracy in Decline?”. In the evening, Kaine will travel to Portsmouth to host a happy hour meet-and-greet with the Portsmouth Democratic Committee at a local sports bar. At each stop, Kaine will lay out his vision of building a Virginia where good jobs, education, health care and security are available to all.
