Tim Kaine to Kick Off National Hispanic Heritage Month By Engaging Latino Community and Grassroots Supporters in Richmond Area

On Sunday, September 16, Senator Tim Kaine will campaign in the Greater Richmond Region and share his message of making good jobs, health care, and education available to every Virginian. He will join members of the Latino community to celebrate the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month at a meet-and-greet and phone bank in Richmond. Later in the afternoon, he will host a Hanover County meet-and-greet in Ashland.

At these events he will highlight the stark choice voters face in November, outlining the differences between himself and his Republican opponent, who would take Virginia backwards and hurt our economy and Virginians’ access to health care.

Kaine is up for re-election in November.

Media interested in attending any of these events should contact Kaine campaign press secretary Brandon Gassaway at brandon@timkaine.com.
