Tim Kaine to Meet With Local Business Leaders in Northern Virginia As CNBC Rates Virginia #4 Best State for Business in America
On Friday, July 13, Senator Tim Kaine will meet with the Democratic Business Council of Northern Virginia in Vienna to discuss the current economic climate in Virginia, trade policy, and strengthening the workforce by expanding access to career and technical education. Kaine will also highlight the stark choice voters face in November, outlining the differences between himself and his opponent Corey Stewart, who would take Virginia backwards and hurt the economy. The meeting comes the same week that CNBC rated Virginia the fourth best state for business in America. Forbes rated Virginia the best state for business all four years Kaine was governor.
At the event, Kaine will share his vision of a more inclusive Virginia where jobs, health care, education, and opportunity are available to all.
Kaine is up for re-election in November.
Media interested in attending any of these events should contact Kaine campaign press secretary Brandon Gassaway at brandon@timkaine.com.
