Senator Kaine: “You have my word, the results, and the mileage to prove I’m always ready to listen and go to work.”

The ad begins with highlighting Senator Kaine’s opponent calling Staunton “podunk” and the drive down to Abingdon “ridonkulous.” The ad then touches on when Senator Kaine was stuck in traffic on I-95 for 27 hours with only an orange.

“Senator Kaine knows how important it is to stand up and show up for Virginians across the Commonwealth, which is why he is always meeting with and listening to Virginians,” said Michael Beyer, Communications Director for Kaine for Virginia. “With his comments insulting Staunton and Abingdon, Senator Kaine’s opponent has shown he can’t be trusted to represent all of the Commonwealth.”

  • And that’s why I approve this message.
